Kashmir, the pristine piece of paradise, lies between great Pir Panjal mountain valley and the great Himalayan range. The valley is home to the musty spelling coniferous hills, lakes, and snow-capped mountains that contribute towards the glacier-fed rivers. There is also another part of untouched Kashmir which nourished the golden saffron fields and apple orchards. Don’t be surprised if you see a tide of flashes that are trying to capture the beauty of the blooming flowers.

Gulmarg:  It might look like any other hill resort but Gulmarg has an extra edge. One can do gondola rides, pony rides, visit the Baba Reshi shrine and Tangmarg as well as eat the local delicacies at dhabas and hotels.

Vaishno Devi Temple: the most visited holy shrine in the world has to be Vaishno Devi. Goddess Mahalakshmi resides here and is known to grant the wishes of believers. The temple is engraved within the cave and is at an altitude of 5200 ft.

Bahu Fort: Popularly known for its walls which have survived the decades. The fort dates back to the 18th century and was part of the Raja Gulab Singh of Dogra Empire. An 8th-century Mahankali temple present within the fort is the star attraction in the fort.

Peer Kho Cave: Built during the 15th century by Raja Ajaib Dev, this temple is exuberantly lit during the Diwali festival and hence is a sight to behold.
